The Oasis at Death Valley, formerly known as the Furnace Creek Resort, is North America’s only true desert oasis. This best-kept secret in the heart of Death Valley was completely reinvigorated in 2018 with a well-deserved multi-million dollar restoration and renovation. The extensive changes paid off handsomely and there is a palpable new life and energy in and around this gorgeous, historic property.

Another new and welcome feature of the Inn are the 22 casitas situated around the property’s famed gardens. Located in the shadow of the Oasis Gardens date palms, the Inn’s Casitas offer unparalleled privacy and luxury within easy walking distance of the Inn pool. Each spacious Casita is over 500 square feet and comes with a complimentary golf cart for guests to use to get around the property as parking for the casitas is off-site.

The main pool, with its gorgeous palm frond motif, was also included in the Inn’s restoration. The pool is now fed by an underground natural spring and stays at a comfortable 87 degrees year-round, which is pretty refreshing considering the average high temperatures in the area can reach upwards of 116 degrees in mid-summer! Guests can now lounge in private cabanas and enjoy a light snack at the Pool Cafe. Spa services at the Inn have also been given a refreshed five star upgrade.

Pool & Spa

The newly renovated pool at the Inn at Death Valley is fed by natural underground spring water and is maintained at a comfortable 87 degrees year-round. Resort guests can also enjoy a wide range of on-site world class spa treatments and services.

Tennis & Golf

The Inn at Death Valley has 2 tennis hardcourts that are lit until 11pm every night. At 214 feet below sea level the 18 hole, par 70, course is the world’s lowest elevation golf course. The majestic Panamint mountains are visible from the tennis courts and golf course, with the best viewing in the early morning and evening light.

Dining

From the Pool Café, situated at the renovated spring-fed pool, to the upscale yet casual, Inn Dining Room dining options at the Inn at Death Valley are plentiful. From breakfast, lunch and dinner to an after dinner drink on the outdoor terrace under a starlit sky your dining experience will be like no other.
