The kids are alright

On a bright sunny afternoon, after five months of waiting, a new beginning was celebrated with the farm’s goat giving birth to two sweet kids, one male and one female.

Watching her lovingly clean them, one tender lick at a time, is truly a sight to behold. As the babies bleat out their first helpless cries in search of mama’s milk, it warms our hearts to see them open their eyes and stumble about as they attempt their first steps.

Updates and more photos will follow in the days ahead. For now it’s some well earned bonding time for mother and babies.
